Personal Profile
Hey there, I’m Scott Riley and I’m the founder of Cloud Nexus in Leeds.
I’ve worked in the IT Service Provider industry for 20 years. Starting in very technical hands on roles and moving up to Executive and Managing Director roles.
I’ve worked on some amazing projects in that time from designing the technical platform which supported Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day right through to completing mergers and acquisitions and saving an IT company from administration when I stepped in as MD.
I’m absolutely passionate about helping businesses adopt technology to make what they do easier, faster and more secure. Cloud Nexus brings together some of the skills and experience that you will find in the largest of IT consultancies in the UK but I really want to make them accessible and affordable to SME’s in West Yorkshire.

Leeds is massive and businesses are really thriving here. In my career, I've worked with hundreds of small businesses helping them move to the cloud and adopt technology to support their growth. But I've always done it for someone else with a big sales team, and often outside of Yorkshire. Now I've founded Cloud Nexus as a Yorkshire based business helping businesses in Yorkshire. I'm rubbish at networking events so I'm looking for a partnership where we can help and support each other, grow our respective businesses and drive real change for Yorkshire based businesses!
