COMPANY PROFILE

We are the guardians of the UK’s national collection of arms and armour, one of the most important in the world, and we care for over 70,000 historically significant objects. Our collections have been witness to some of the most compelling stories of human endeavour that have been, and continue to be, shaped by arms and armour.
At our three museums, in Leeds, the Tower of London, and Fort Nelson, we aim to inspire our audiences to discover more by presenting our collections in innovative ways, by bringing history to life through live interpretation and armed combat, and through continued research and publications. We also have thriving education and community outreach programmes that are making a real difference in the communities that we serve.
Our extensive programme of education, community and family events, as well as our world-class exhibitions, offer unique and meaningful partnership opportunities for your company.
With a focus on creating positive social outcomes, our corporate partnerships allow us to continue inspiring and engaging our diverse audiences with our collections. We use our expertise and knowledge to address important social issues in our community, and strategic corporate partnerships help to deepen the impact of our work.
We can offer your company a tailored approach to meet your corporate social responsibility (CSR) targets, a clear way to demonstrate your commitment to our local community, and opportunities for employee engagement or volunteering through our education and community programmes.
When you join the Royal Armouries as a corporate partner, your organisation can enjoy
– Acknowledgement online, onsite and in print.
– Opportunities for co-marketing campaigns across our website and social medal channels.
– Behind-the-scenes tours of world-renowned collections at our flagship museum in Leeds, White Tower and the Tower of London, and Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
– Priority access to our new exhibitions.
– A dedicated Account Manager, who will work with you to create and deliver a mutually beneficial partnership that meets your business needs.

HEY Rebecca, WHY DID YOU JOIN
THE NORTHERN AFFINITY?

My role at the Royal Armouries relies on building a community of support from like-minded businesses, with an interest in supporting our exhibitions, events and outreach programmes. We also have multiple sponsorship opportunities for businesses looking to raise their profile among our audiences. Personally - being relatively new to Leeds and West Yorkshire - joining the Northern Affinity will hopefully provide me with an opportunity to meet local businesses, understand their needs and create a meaningful network!
