Personal Profile

Originally from Bedford in the South of the Country, Margaret moved North in the early 1990’s with work which at the time was hotel management at a famous corner landmark Hotel on the A1. Her family has roots in the North as her mum was from Durham, so it felt like a natural affinity from the start. It wasn’t long before Margaret found herself loving being in this part of the Country and decided to make a move into the world of recruitment as a way to develop her career and stay in the region. After 3 years, Margaret gained employment with a radio station selling advertising before securing a role at an accountancy practice where she set up the marketing department. In 2017, Margaret saw an opportunity to create a training and tech business that offered micro businesses, start ups and SME’s with a clear visual process and solution for a commercial marketing plan. There is now a team of 3 and the company have an award winning tech solution as well as accredited training programmes.

My Marketing Button is an online solution giving micro businesses, startups and small companies an agile, affordable and accessible solution for a marketing plan. The focus is around visualising the marketing function in a business and being able to plan to clear commercial outcomes. Using a framework as the structure and foundation for a plan means business owners have instant support and can be guided, prompted and focused on clear tasks and activity. The process within the software was created by Margaret Bradshaw, our Managing Director, having worked as a marketing manager for many years, Margaret saw the need for clarity and visualisation around marketing and being able to offer a way to answer the question of “What is Marketing?” was the driving force behind the product. People impact on marketing and marketing is the success process in a business – its so important for people to see where and how they are making a difference and being able to see what marketing looks like offers an empowering way for people to drive performance.
