Personal Profile

Local Business Manager at Metro Bank (UK), Bradford Store – Opening mid-21. Supporting SMEs across the West Yorkshire region. The furthest north location for the Bank, assisting businesses in North Yorkshire and beyond.

Most of my working life has been spent in the world of banking, so relaxing normally involves no electronic devices or WiFi… UK day and staycations are the best, with a group of mates and our four-legged friends, but four plane journeys a year are a must. From our house in Turkey, to travels further a field, cruising and skiing… #DowntimeIsForExploring!

Metro Bank is about to celebrate its 11th birthday, later in 2021 and #MetroStoreBradford will be its 78th store.

As well as our business offering, we also welcome personal customers, pets can come along for a visit and we have a great working relationships with schools, through our “Kids Zone” programs. Our stores are open for longer and look more like a hotel grand receptions, featuring coin counting machines, safety deposit boxes, as well as no appointments needed for applications. (Card and pins are even produced within the same day visit).

Further down south, you will see “drive through” banking, some stores even offer cash delivery and collection, whilst our UK contact centres never close. And, we are not looking to be one of the BIG four or five and we understand that being smaller allows us to tweak our services more easily for customers, as well as focusing on creating fans… We welcome all interactions and enquiries and we would love to share our journey further with you, in the coming months.
