BIOGRAPHY

Personal Profile

In my personal life, I am generally described as an avid book hoarder, obsessed rabbit mum, aspirational crocheter, very amateur archer, professional daydreamer and an Olympic Gold level clumsy noggin.

I love learning and can be found collecting new hobbies by the week – current fads being making things with epoxy resin and learning some form of very garbled Spanish. Sometimes at the same time.

I live with my long-term suffering partner Graham and two very diva-like pet rabbits – Tiffin and Strudel – near Bingley/Haworth, West Yorkshire.

Helen is an ICF ACC accredited business coach with a mission to support the sustainability of YOU, your business and the planet through increasing your connection, curiosity and creativity. She helps to develop the sustainability and positive impact of the business, not just for the planet but for the individuals working within it.

Plus she is a co-founder of Be The Future – an educational initiative that aims to ‘unleash the power of families and schools to rewrite the climate story’. They provide ‘edutainment’ in the form of books, activity books, games, resources and podcasts to help ease eco-anxiety and encourage families to take action one step at a time… because small ripples make big waves!

HEY Helen, WHY DID YOU JOIN
THE NORTHERN AFFINITY?

Having explored the idea of joining networks before I have always been put off by the formality and a feeling that I needed to be 'more professional' (i.e. not myself) in them and have ultimately been put off. But having been introduced to NA by a fellow partner I liked the relaxed, friendly feeling and it seemed filled with more like-minded, genuine people. I have spent a lot of time networking in these last two years and am more comfortable to do it, but now needed to find the right forum to do it.
